Programmer I
Responsibilities
Summary
Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status reports where required.
- Create programming specifications for code modifications
- Follow programming standards and guidelines
- Execute prepared unit test plans with guidance
- Work on assigned project tasks in prioritized order to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with the project team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from a four-year college or university
- Related entry-level experience/internship experience preferred
- Working knowledge and experience with some of the following: VB, ASP, SQL, HTML, Javascript, XML, C#
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information
- Solid verbal and written communications skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
- Self-motivation and successful track record of completing projects on time and possession of strong prioritization skills
- Ability to work well with team members
