Programmer I

Responsibilities

Summary

Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status reports where required.

• Create programming specifications for code modifications
• Follow programming standards and guidelines
• Execute prepared unit test plans with guidance
• Work on assigned project tasks in prioritized order to meet deadlines
• Collaborate with the project team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from a four-year college or university
• Related entry-level experience/internship experience preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with some of the following: VB, ASP, SQL, HTML, Javascript, XML, C#
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information
• Solid verbal and written communications skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
• Self-motivation and successful track record of completing projects on time and possession of strong prioritization skills
• Ability to work well with team members
